Before KEYS, the streets of Baltimore had most of Monty’s attention. With constantly having to worry about how his mother and siblings would eat, he spoke of how he would “go get it”.

After joining KEYS, Monty turned his life around. He later spoke of how the programs and mentors showed him ways to take care of himself and his family. KEYS gave him so much to do, that there was no longer a reason or time to get in trouble.
